The 8 Note Rainbow Chime Unit turns an outdoor play area into a place where kids can explore melody, rhythm and sound together. Eight tuned chimes create the F Major diatonic scale (F, G, A, Bb, C, D, E, F), giving kids a complete octave to play with during structured or open-ended music activities.
The first seven chimes follow the familiar rainbow color order—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet—with the eighth red chime completing the octave. Kids can create sound by bumping the chimes against the striker bars or by using the attached recycled-plastic mallets.
